James and I were sadden to hear about the passing of former Councilman Phil Reed tonight. We go way back to our Black Pride NYC, Inc. days where he helped us in so many ways. Phil made it a point to attend many of our events because he believed in what we were attempting to do for the community. He was a wonderful man that lived with HIV with dignity. Here is the thing. He got out of his sick bed to go and VOTE. Two days later he died. God Bless You Phil. Rest in Peace. Read more about his amazing life.

Tribute to One of the Good Guys
