• TAVIS SMILEY LOOKING FOR 'UNCONDITIONAL LOVE': Journalist needs submissions for new book. *SmileyBooks, the publishing company founded by Tavis Smiley, has launched a national campaign to generate submissions for his next book Love Wins: True Stories of Transformation and Triumph.
  The book will be a collection of real life stories that give voice to the transforming power of unconditional love. "Too often 21st century living has a way of disconnecting us from that divine power within," says Smiley. "Love Wins is an expression of faith that we can reconnect with love's power - to positively transform each other and the world we live in." The true stories featured in Love Wins will range from 500 to 1,200 words in length. Contributors' bios will be included along with their selection and each author will receive a complimentary autographed first edition copy of Love Wins. In addition to the entries included in the book, SmileyBooks will feature additional selections on www.tavistalks.com. What's Up Now?

It has been a very busy two weeks. The second Nubian Dreams Lounge was a success. Special thanks to all the ladies that came out and the fellas that also showed through. Tammy and Butta threwdown and DJ Poison Ivy turned it. We sold quite of few cabins for the cruise and tickets to the upcoming Nubian Dreams "Return to Paradise" event at Winter Explosion. Thank you.

The real estate business is busy in NYC even though the news is frighting, all you want to do is runaway. James and I did just that last week...well almost. We went on a three day prep tour of San Juan and St. Thomas in preparation for the upcoming Nubian Dreams Cruise and the "Sun Pass" events. If you get the Nubian Dreams newsletter you might already know some of this information. Here is what we are considering as a part of the "Sun Pass." Details of the package will be announced next week. Stay tuned to the website for more.

• A visit to Loiza a town outside of San Juan full of shops and bars where locales frequent.
• A tour of the Old City of San Juan at Night
• In St. Thomas we want to do a Mansion Party called "Boom" or a Beach Party. We will still negotiating so more about that later.

NEW YORK (Hollywood Reporter) - Terrence Howard will make his stage debut in Debbie Allen's Broadway revival of "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof," the first production led by an all-black cast to be authorized by playwright Tennessee Williams' estate.
Tony-winning trio James Earl Jones, Phylicia Rashad and "Dreamgirls" actress Anika Noni Rose also star in the latest version of Williams' Pulitzer Prize-winning Southern drama, which is set to open March 6 at New York's Broadhurst Theatre.
Howard will play the haunted, alcoholic Brick, a former football player who rebuffs the advances of his wife, Maggie (Rose), and faces a tortured relationship with his domineering father, Big Daddy (Jones). Rashad plays Big Mama. The other two main roles in the dysfunctional family still are being cast.
Preview performances begin February 12.

Or worse. They succumb to the toxicity and join in. And wouldn't that be a waste?"
